I used a variety of colors, and my stash decreased significantly! The way this pattern is created, you can use it with any yarn leftovers you have, allowing you to use up even the smallest leftovers of one color.

Crochet Hook G (4 mm)
Yarn needle for weaving in ends.
Gauge in sc: 21 st & 22 rows = 4×4” square.
For newborn car seat blanket 19×19” you will need 4.5 skeins of yarn (612 yards, 558 meters).
For crib blanket 37 x 37” you will need 17 skeins (2320 yards or 2116 meters).
