Gauge: 8 sts x 6 rows of hdc form 2×2” square.

Finished size: Small, hand circumference 5.5-7”.
Approximate time to complete this project: 10 hours for a pair of mittens.
Abbreviations and stitches used:
Ch – chain, (chs – chains),
Hdc – half double crochet
Hdc2tog – 2 hdc over next 2 stitches crocheted together, resulting in 1 decrease,
Sl st – slip stitch, st – stitch, (sts – stitches),
Sc – single crochet,
Dc – double crochet,
Sk – skip.

  1. These mittens look so soft and not clumsy at all. (I think most crocheted mittens look clumsy. Especially the thumbs pointing out in a funny way.) And they are convertible! There are some beautiful mittens on Revelry crocheted from this pattern.
